Responsive
and Accessible
One of the
things that our administration is proud of is that parents find us to be
accessible and responsive. This is possible, in great part, because
Lake Shore Prep is a proprietary school. Most schools are
not-for-profit entities. We have elected to go a different route, as
it allows us to quickly respond to the needs and interests of parents and
teachers. Decisions can be made quickly. We view parents as
our full partners in the development and education of the children at our
school. Our open door policy encourages you not only to check in on
your child's progress at any time, but also to discuss with the teachers
and administration any concerns you may have.
Lake Shore
Prep's administrators and teachers are rare in that we view the school as
a service business and consider the families our clients. As in most
service businesses, we want to please our clients and reserve the answer,
"no" for situations where it is truly impossible. Many
schools are very rigid, enforcing policies for no reason other than,
"that is the way that it has always been." At Lake Shore
Prep, our goal is to be flexible and accommodating.
