PARENT INVOLVEMENT IN THE CLASSROOM
Parents are always welcome in our classrooms.
We have had parents with special talents or careers that interest the children
visit our classes. Some of these include doctors, nurses, architects, police
officers, flight attendants and a pastry chef. Other parents have played
instruments, read stories and done art projects with the class. As we try to
celebrate as many holidays as possible, we are always asking parents to make presentations
about their ethnic or cultural background and holiday traditions. Parents may also
drop by "just for a visit" or to eat lunch with the class.
The families of our students are always welcome at school. As we consider you part
of our school family, we do not require family members to wear the
"Visitor" tags that are required for all other visitors.
